Normal Weekend:)

Salam All:) We have a very normal weekend *wink*wink* , nothing abnormal except for the fact yang i dah tak makan chili for 1 week already..wahhhh what a Guiness World Book of Record for a negeri woman like me:):):)

We supposed to go Kidzania today but the papa said he has to finish his Board Paper, so everybody stay at home and the mama cook,cook and cook:) After a sumptuous gulai lemak ketam,special crispy Siakap the papa sat in front of TV and dreams...hmmmm wahhh geram ni...ada nak kena piat telingaaaa niiii:):)

The mama pulak very penat now as Sunday when she cooks she will clean after that too.Sebab the maid tak nak keluar or ambik cuti so the mama buatlah semua kerja rumah supaya maid at least tak payah penat sangat:) So now after pasar trip, created a new working table for papa/girls,helped the girls with their painting,cooked,hidang,clean the kitchen and table until shining ,berbunyi dan menciutkan..the mama now terbaring mengadap her laptop next to the two her girls yang berselimut dengan sebotol susu sorang,tersengih-sengih menengok Dora :):)

Ini lah gambar dan cerita dari mamatiamia yang dah kuyu2 mata tapi masih sempat fikir petang nak buat kueh apa untuk tea? and she masih terfikir nak pergi sekeh kepala the papa sebab tricked her cakap nak buat paper and no outing tapi bersarang depan TV.Cisssss:):) Ehhhh...dia dapat baca fikiran i lahhh..now dia dah naik and duduk tepuk2 anak dia...konon..tu nak tumpang tidur lah tuuuuu:):)

Our normal weekend started with Ballet routine on Saturday.

The girls were super happy because they got new dress from Cotton On..well actually this is not the real ballet dress,it is more to party dress and they are so lovely and sweet:)

While waiting for the girls habis keyboard class pulak,mama pergi lah massage kat Thai Odyssey:):) Papa you pi baca buku sorang2 kat Times this time;):)

Waaaaa...syoknya orang basuh kaki,urut2...best lah Thai Odyssey:):)

After Maghrib we went to Kak Ikin and Badin's Mexican Grill Grand Opening.BIG CONGRATS Kak Ikin and Badin!!!

It is a nice and cool place..ada life band nyanyi2:)

The Restaurant's interior is cosy and spacious.

They have lepak2 place at the back with closed panel..nak buat2 kerja with WIFI semua boleh lah duduk sini.

These two sangat happy berlari sana-sini:);) Pakai baju ballet dari pagi tak tukar2 tu:)

Alhamdulillah Uwan pun dapat join opening restaurant cucu:):) Allahuakbar:)

The mama pulak masa nak pergi pi lah ambik sandal lama tak pakai dalam store..sampai jer kat kedai..terus putus..so she berjalan-jalan malam tu berkaki ayam,nasib baik skirt panjang..kalau tak orang heran lah jugak ingat tema "Mexican" kaaa tak berkasut:):)

Sunday morning bawak Uwan breakfast kat luar before pasar trip.

Balik buat lah kerja mengalih barang2 sana sini sikit.Since this area dah kosong sebab Uwan dah naik tidur atas buatlah tempat computer balik like before guna the existing table.

Then masuk dapur masak gulai lemak ketam dengan tomato..sedappp:)

Special crispy Siakap with thick kicap..my own recipe..the girls sangat suka..crispy kat luar soft kat dalam.Kalau berminat mencuba senang ajer.Siakap belah di belakang dan goreng hingga garing dalam minyak yang banyak.Angkat tepi kuali dan tos kan lama2 hingga semua minyak keluar,pindahkan dalam pinggan.Potong nipis bawang merah,putih,halia dan goreng hingga garing,masukkan 3-4 sudu kicap masin pekat,biar mendidih dan tambah sesudu air,air tak boleh lebih.Potong daun sup dan bawang,tabur atas ikan dan curahkan kuah kicap dengan sudu biar rata. Actually cara dia macam buat steam tofu with soy sauce lah.

Sangat sedap lah selera budak kenits makan today..siap bubuh kuah ketam lagi.Mana Uwan? heee..heee Uwan dia makan awal,11.30 dia dah makan,masa tu baru siap gulai ketam dan tumis labu air..dia datang dapur i terus hidangkan..dia kalau ketam memang suka sangat.

Budak dua orang ni kalau makan pakai tangan,benda yang jatuh keliling punya lah banyak..tapi biarlah asal pandai makan sendiri...boleh habis satu pinggan tu;):) Seronok lah tengok anak2 makan..tu ada anak dua tu,kalau ada ramai agaknya tak keluar dapur lah masak:):)

Finally..thank you so much Kak Nor for contacting me:):) Bercakap macam dah kenal di telefon:) InsyAllah ada rezki kita berjumpa di La defense,Paris in July ya Kak Nor.

Finally,finally tak lah jadi nak tidur nampaknya ni..budak bertuah 2 orang tu dah masuk bilik air mandi..siap tak bagi i masuk..tu nak main sabun lah tu:) Uwan pulak dah habis mandi,sembahyang..dia makan awal tadi mesti dia lapar balik..kena lah tengok2 apa pulak yang boleh di buat kueh untuk tea kat dapur tu..si papa pulak dah mandi,dah sembahyang masih tak duduk2 buat paper dia..hishhhhh:):)

Anyway those simple looked like bothering and also boring things make my life colorful..i am so thankful to Allah Swt for that;) Now let me go down first and check on my morning glory flower; satu pot tanam kat pagar dah memanjat satu lagi gantung kat atap tepi verandah dah mula memanjat jugak..hajat hati biarlah dia memanjat atap tu nanti kalau bunga berkembang sangat cantik ..tapi si heni sibuklah pulak cakap..nanti semut hitam datang etc etc bagai...biarlah kan saya tuan rumah..dengar cakap saya:):)he..hee

Thanks so much yang bertanya khabar sebab senyap ajer dalam minggu ni ya:):) Alhamdulillah all of us including Uwan are in good health,moga sentiasa diberkati.Begitu jugak doa untuk semua orang ya.Amin  Ya Rabbul Alamin.

Before bercerita khabar yang sibuk minggu ni nak tinggalkan no catering untuk caterer yang catered food for Uwan punya Majlis Doa Selamat.The number is :

Ustaz ni actually kawan my brother (Pashik),masa i kahwin dulu dialah yang baca doa di majlis.Jadi ambik dia ni macam 2 in 1 lah,dia bawak makanan dan dia jugak baca doa:);) Review tentang food dia pulak,sebab i ni sangat cerewet tentang makanan especially nogori food i would rating 8 out of 10:) But one thing for sure dia memang tak kedekut,makanan banyak,kalau gulai daging tu memang penuhlah daging,kalau ulam tu mintak lah apa saja mesti penuh satu tray.

Okay cerita minggu ni; I was terribly busy, i have backache due to long hours of sitting in front of computer at office and also home. So many things to settle,Perfomance for first quarter for the staffs dah due,many issues involving legal suits at office that required meeting,sitting with respective individuals and many many request for advices landed on my table.

Bertambah sibuk because i am going to attend  meeting and conference in Geneva in July. I was invited last year to present paper in Geneva but due to short notice and it was in winter i turned down the invitation.The World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO) meeting will be held at United Nation building in Geneva for 10 days. The Company has made necessary arrangement for me to attend the conference, so I will be going:):) Now i have to read many papers and liase with Union on the issues to be tabled at the meeting.

So will budak kenits kena tinggal? Hee..hee no way they nak kena tinggal..lama pulak tu..where mama goes they will go.This going to be the first longest trip for them, Sydney was just 8 hours, i have chosen KL - PARIS route and the journey will be 13.5 hours. 

Currently i am reading these books:):) Nostalgia,i love reading traveling books:) I went to Paris 12 years ago and now InsyAllah will be going again with the girls and papa:):) Bila nak travel with children lama pulak ,8 days Paris and 12 days Geneva,kena lah pilih accommodation yang betul2,we ll be staying in apartment yang ada kitchen,washing machine..nak masak, nak membasuh:):)

Baca buku France kat atas tu terjumlah my Eurostar ticket yang 12 tahun dulu,masa tu cuma GBP40.00 ajer,now dah dekat seribu dah:( 

Look forward to be on Switzerland landscape again,been  to Zurich,Lucerne and Berne 4 1/2 years ago.July will be summer and hopefully weather will be nice to us:)

And definitely excited to have meeting at the United Nation Building.

This is the old meeting room at UN, now they have a new building and all meetings with be held there.

I kena 'chill attack' since last week,my perut tak than cili lagi sobs sobs, so dah seminggu makan without chilli AT ALL!!!

This is the nice caramelized chicken sandwich from Lavender Bakery.

I bought many croissant from Lavender for breakfast.So easy in the morning just heat up the croissant in the oven, make some scrambled eggs and hotdogs.

And this is one of Uwan's lauk for this week.It seems that i have to write down all uwan's favorite menus to be given to my sister when i m away nanti.

Minggu ni sibuk sampai sakit belakang kat office tapi tetap masak pagi dan petang:):)

Nite,nite all..esok pun ada very tight schedule,pagi ballet,noon keyboard class and malam nak attend grand opening untuk Sateori Mexican Grill Ikin dan Din. Moga semua berjalan dengan lancar.Assalamulaikum:)

Salam All:) Thanks for good words for ikin and also me:) And heap of thanks to those who have visited the place.They are not running in full yet,still training some staffs... etc etc well it is not easy to run a restaurant isn't it?:):)

 And i really smile to some of the comments:):) Thank you for your kind concerns..Heee..hee i always have dark circles under my eyes:):):) ..living with it now and i dont really notice it:);) and one sis asked the colour of my hobo Longchamp..why??wink wink..anyway it's dark brown:);) ikin bought for me during her trip to Paris:):) and i ve been using it since i dont have that many handbags:):) So sis if you want to give me another one..ohhh please i welcome it very much:):):)

Hopefully semua orang had a good weekend..ours were "carca marba":);) fulled with flavours&colours:):)

Friday was closed with beautiful cuppies fom Bijoux for the girls and i bought something bright and red for Ikin's shop too..Yaribaaa Yaribaaaa:))

Saturday.. the girls getting ready to Pirouttee!!!

They love going to their class so we just left them there and went to the nearest Khalifah Bistro while waiting for session to finish.

After Ballet was Music lesson..so mama papa had to lepak somemore while waiting for another one hour to finsh:) We went to Times bookshop and read some books.

I always love travelling books..so i managed to browse 2,3 copies while i was there.

" Boto an cormin mato dulu haa..kang kok tak nampak nak makan: LOL ..hee..hee Sunday we took Uwan to Mamak for roti canai. I offered to send Heni to go Giant if she wants to jalan2..but she tak nak..so she stayed at home while we went out with Uwan.

After breakfast we went to the nursery to by some flowers:) Look at Uwan..so Alhamdulillah,she looks good isn't it and she was wearing her new sandals from Giant..bling bling lagi:):)

The two girls rambang mata..dua orang ni not only excited masuk Toys R Us masuk beli bunga pun sama..they love flowers and gardening.And Tia had her eyes set on this white petunias.

After Nursery we went to pasar tani..nobody want to come down..so mama quickly went down to hunt for fresh tulang.

This is how i cook my sup tulang, i dont like it to be spicy etc etc..i like the natural flavour of the fresh meat..so after washing it realy really well i placed it in a pot, add a lot of big onions,garlic, ginger and some crushed pepper.Boil it for few hours until it really soft and tender.

While the sup tulang left to boil for few hours for special dinner with Pashik (it was his birthday yesterday), i prepared asam pedas ikan jenahak for lunch.

I cooked this lauk kampung for uwan too..gulai terung belanda with terung biasa.Sedap kata Uwan.

This is my small cooking place at the back,i hardly cook inside except for baking.One day when i have more space i will make an outdoor cooking place as nice as i could..nicer than a Spa!!!! haaa..haaa.

Until the "Spa Kitchen" comes i just feel satisfied with this bright teeny weeny space:);)

Tadaaaaa.. my MBG asam pedas..what is MBG? Money Back Guarantee..heee..heee..i dont have high self esteem in all areas but i surely do have an extreme one in cooking..yeapp my asam podeh lah yang tersodap..kihhh..kihhh.

After we had a good lunch, we went out to transfer the flower we bought into old pots and this is a special pot for pashik.Tia Mia went green by buying pashik two pots of roses for his birthday:):)

And i bought this gorgeous morning glory..last time when i still have my pergola in the garden i used to plant this around the pergola, when they crawled to the top and the roof fulled with blooms it was the most beautiful sight that you can see in the morning.I bought two pots yesterday,one was planted near the wall so that it can crawl up while this one is hanged upon request from Mia Ayesha:):)

This is the white petunia we brought back,priced at RM10.00 only.

Uwan had a good time watching us do the gardening.

While this girl dia lah yang beriya-iya menolong transfer the flower sana sini..

Once we were done with garding the rain came, it was a perfect time.

Evening,after my sup was really soft, i added lots of greenery into it..it smelled very nice.

In our family ..bila ada sup tulang tak boleh spoil dengan banyak lauk lain..so i prepared egg salad to go with it.

Plus sambal kicap limau and ikan pekasam goreng.

As for pashik..no cake for him as he had celebrated earlier at kak ikin's restaurant.. so Tia and Mia with my help prepared him this Ribena Jelly:):)

We had a very good dinner last night,everybody enjoyed the sup tulang very much:);) I was so happy and look at the two "big lady bosses" they sat at the biggest chairs:):)

Good time with the people you loved:):) We are all geared up for Monday!!!!
