Plainpalais market and Superb Lunch on the boat.

Salam All;) Hope all of you had a good puasa today.

I dah 'bercuti' so i have sometimes at night to do this uploading:) Last week when my brother came for bukak puasa he went for tarawikh with my husband at the surau we used to go few years back.Now dah ada masjid baru jarang dah pergi surau tu.Rasanya kalau uwan larat nak lah bawak dia tarawkih sekali dua di surau yang dia pernah pergi dulu,same goes with Tia Mia,so kena check the keadaan,it seems the surau more suitable to uwan compared to masjid yang kena naik tangga tinggi and too crowded.

Okay kita sambung cerita sebab lauk sahur dah siap, i cooked asam pedas tenggiri,ketam lemak dan daging goreng kering:) Uwan pulak tolong gentel puteri mandi and i made puteri mandi berdurian today:)

And to yang tanya mana beli sandal Tia Mia,we bought from ZARA in Malaysia,nice kan..masa travel many liked it:);)

Hari kedua di Geneva jatuh pada hari Ahad,we decided to go to the famous open market there called Plainpalais.Geneva ni walaupun tempat United Nations and many other international centres tapi the environment somehow lebih laid back compared to Paris.Cuma sangat mahal di sini,memang negara orang kaya, masa bulan puasa i bought one chicken from halal shop and it costed me 17 euros which is nearly RM80 per bird! he he kena makan sampai tulang2 kan;) Same goes with dining outside,especially the fine dining surely you kena around 99 euros which is nearly RM400.I cooked a lot but stilled once a while keluar fine dining untuk experience and ingatan.Apart from the expensive cost of living geneva is just wonderful,people are friendly,city is clean and beautiful,good facilities..senang nak dapat semua benda termasuklah petai,serai,mangga muda,ikan masin,milo etc..i will share my ramadhan cooking in Geneva in the near future. Cepat boleh rasa at home in geneva sebab banyak park for children and the forever beautiful lake menanti di tepi bandar geneva..sangat seronok bawak family duduk bagi makan itik,main air,naik carousel,bergolek di rumput tebal,picnic di padang hijau atau naik boat mengeliling pulau2 yang cantik.

Sunday morning we went to Plainpalais open market..we have to take this opportunity because when my meeting starts time will be limited.I always love market,i like looking at the colourful items, market reflects the people and culture of each city.

The girls pulak tengok jer toy mesti terpegun punya..ada niat nak membeli lah tu:)

So many items can be found here including these african baskets.

And tudung too;) so if you re in geneva and suddenly ran out of hijab don't worry;) just go to the sunday market and you can buy as many as you like.

The earring;) kalau dulu2 mesti i sibuk membeli ni;)

bermacam jenis cendawan..yang kuning macam gold kat atas tu sedap..i bought alot and fried it with garlic and prawn.

ada macam2 jenis pickles kat sini.

Cherry pun besar2 and masak ranum.

And...tadaaaa i found ikan bilis,walapun macam rupa dah goreng jadilah) Orang Congo yang jual,i tak der duit swiss franc and dia cuma nak accept franc,puas lah i pergi menukar my euros semata-mata nak membeli ikan bilis ni..kan dah nak puasa nanti sahur goreng2 sedap jugak.

And the girls finally got these;) 8 euros each RM32 satu.

So they tak kisah lah the mama sibuk membelek barang kat pasar tu..they just main ni with the papa and ate ice cream.

After stashing all our goods in papa's backpack we went to the lake and board a cruise for fine dining;)

We sat on the upper deck and this boat is not moving, untuk dining only.

The ambience was very nice on the boat.

If you dont mind the wind blowing onto your face you can eat outside in the sun on the outside deck.

We ordered grilled fish,kat sini ikan sebut perch.

Prwan and smoke salmon salad and risotto for the girls.

Dah kenyang and leaving the boat.

It costed us 99 euros here-RM400 for lunch.

After that we siap sedia nak naik petite train to tour along the lake.

This is the petite train and the driver yang pakai bermuda tu..dia punyalah kelakar:)

Bukan main lagi makcik ni,berposing posing fia bila org ambik gambar.

Cantikkan,dua2 org ni beli di market tadi it was priced at 5 franc each leebih kurang Rm16 sepasang murahkan,

We had great second day in geneva.

We walked back to our apartment,it was drizzling and we stopped for hot chocolate and croissant at the nearby cafe.

The girls found these cute pingu head ice cream.

Lets eat pingu's brain said the two..ishhh nakallah dua orang ni..until tehn nite nite i am so sleepy until i cannot wrtite properly anymore;)
