Yesterday we have decided not to go anywhere:):) We stayed full-time at home.Dulu2 orang mana keluar tiap minggu, kat kampung hujung minggu adalah untuk berehat,duduk bawah pokok rambutan buat penyapu dari lidi kelapa,menjahit baju yang koyak,menggembur batas sayur dan paling jauh pun ke kebun orang kampung mencari kacang panjang,ikan kolam untuk dibuat lauk.Dah masak dan makan selalunya berehat di serambi rumah atau tangga,baca suratkhabar atau makan ais krim Malaysia, petang turun ke bawah mencari pisang atau mencabut ubi untuk dibuat goreng atau pun menggentel tepung untuk buat puteri mandi:) Seronok betul,hari terasa panjang dan nyaman..semua terasa seronok:):) Uwan memang selalu buat kueh masa di kampung,tiap petang mesti ada tetamu samada saudara atau kawannya datang bertandang ,duduk di pangkin luas bawah pokok rambutan.As for me i just feel happy reading my story book under the tree or with half of my body hidden under the bed.

It is nice once a while to just stay in your bedroom with good books..do nothing but read,eat and laugh:)
So that was what the girls had been doing yesterday morning..they had fun in the bedroom.
Yeayyy i cooked my first fish head noodles:) Actually more to 'fish bone noodles' as i couldn't find good fish head at Village Grocer,so i bought jenahak bones.

Alhamdulillah everybody loves it:) To Julie yang mintak recipe here it goes: i tak ada sukatan khas semua anggaran okay. 6 cups of chicken stock,i tbs of fish sauce, 1/4 cup of evaporated milk,fish head or fishbone or fillet, ginger,onion,shallot,tomato,sour plum in a can,green mustard pickles in a can,sawi,red chili and beehoon. Rub your fish head with salt and pepper,roll in corn flour,fry until brown and set aside. In a pot,fry your thinly sliced ginger,onion and garlic and tomatoes,add in your fish stock and fish sauce,let it boil,add in 2 slice sour plum,and 1/2 cup thinly sliced picked sawi and let it simmer, drain all the veges from pot and set aside, add in your evaporated milk,,shallot,salt and pepper,don't let it boil.You may add in your fried fish head or if you like it to crispy just add it last while serving.In a bowl put your cooked bee hoon,add the drained cooked veges, fish head,sliced chilies and pour the soup on it.Serve with sambal udang kering or cili potong with kicap. A bit leceh jugak nak buat:):) but berbaloi.

After the heavy breakfast we went out for jogging at the park near our land (with me memasang angan2) and on the way back we stop at a gerai selling all the kampung produce. And i bought manggis for the girls and to their delight i hang it just like at kampung last time.
I bought petai with big mata too:):)
And kangkung kampung (kangkung air)
Some bananas and buah binjai for air asam:)
Pisang tanduk and daun pisang are another two delightful finding.
Petang ingat nak buat buah sepang,tengok tepung pulut tinggal sikit..so buat puteri mandi ajerlah lagi pun budak2 suka.
Nampak tu kaki uwan dah datang..lepas basuh tangan siap2 kat singki luar nak gentel tepung. Actually kueh traditional ni i hardly eat, i don't like anything sweet..except for some cold dessert..the reason i am making it is to make other people happy:)
I love looking at them so happy participating..look at Uwan's face she's so happy kan:):)
So nice to just sit at the verandah petang2,borak2,gurau2 sambil gentel tepung..just like when i was small:)
I love my traditional dulang i took from kampung..cantikkan:) Tadi borak2 dengan Uwan,uwan cakap ambik lah lagi dari rumah di kampung ada banyak lagi..hee..hee nanti balik raya nak ambik lagi satu.

For dinner i cooked my own recipe, gulai perut ikan dengan kangkung kampung.Kangkung ni kena rebus dulu sebab pahit sikit and keras,dah lembut toskan baru masukkan dalam gulai mendidih,sedap rasanya sebab lemak dan lembut.
Sup cekur manis dan terung telunjuk,Mia suka rasa sup yang manis ni.
Sesekali memang nak makan goreng telur masak kicap..sedap:) i suka kicap without air,biar likat2 dan char sikit.
Alhamdulillah untuk hari yang indah,sihat,baik,aman dan damai di beri Allah Swt. Dari siang di bawak ke malam.
