Great Escapade 2 - Swiss garden Damai Laut by Canon Ixus

We had great 3 days 2 nites stay at Swiss Garden Damai Laut,Lumut. All pictures were taken by my small Canon Ixus which was once dropped by Mia and ended in Canon clinic for so long and again dropped by none other than mama at the Lumut jetty during this trip!!(so we are now equal Adik!)..the pictures however still look good;) Swiss Garden Damai Laut is very secluded,it is like 30 kilometres from Lumut town, you have to drive in very deep into the forest through small road..Swiss garden is the only hotel there occupying the private beach..being a 4 stars hotel nothing extra ordinary there, but the place was nice, the people were great, lots of foods but not as tasty as the 5 stars hotel..the best is the beach and the swimming pool..the pool is the same level with the sunset  as the hotel is situated on the cliff,it was really beautiful in the evening. The pool was spacious and well shaded by the trees..parents can just relax at the ample pool chairs. The private beach was great too..they are clean even the water was not as clear as at Pangkor..since it is situated at cape, the beach is not really hot..shaded by trees and cliff very well so that you can just sleep at the beach chairs while your children played until pengsan2;) They have children activities by the beach, beside water sport they can play sand art..and when nite comes you can opt for BBQ by the beach cafe..yeap the cafe is exactly by the water..even the food cannot get my thumbs up (me being very fussy about food) but the ambience was very nice, the live singers will come to your tables and serenade you with songs while you were eating, the waiter even come with mosquitos repellent if you wish to have it rub on your arms. Overall the stay there was great, people were nice too us..smiles and greeting everywhere;)
Now enjoy the pictures:)

Hi Ann, kalau tak jam like during thje festival time within 2 1/2 or 3 hours dah boleh sampai. It is really secluded, you kena drive in dari town masuk about 3o kilometres..you akan lalu malayfarm, ada jual local produce sikit2,small kampung food stalls, selain tu tempat makan kat hotel ajer lah..otherwise you have to drive out to town..foreigners suka lah,the hotel is not five stars but it is good enough, byk activities for kids, food pun banyak, not superb but boleh tahan..i think the most sedap food was from the chinese resraurant when we called for room service that nite, the fried rice was a thumb up. The best about this place is the ambience, you just relax and let your children enjoy themselves..if you looking for a crystal clear water you should go pangkor, take ferry from the jetty..macam us since Tia Mia stilled kecik and with the weather tak rasa nak take them to Pulau pangkor with ferry so here was good enough for them. You can google map to go Swiss Garden Damai laut,Lumut,Perak and it will show you which road or lane to take from KL.

Hi MamaTiaMia, wow! Like looking at National Geographic. You sure can create fantastic pics! Outstanding!
Can do free lance for travel magazines, ha ha.

Looking at the pics really make me feel warm as right now our temp outside is -19'c!
Been snowing past 2 days.
Da lupa the colour of grass, ha ha.

Love this beautiful place....and that 1st pic is really fantastic!
Have a happy rabbit year! Lee.

MamaTiaMia,
concur with you. the place is nice. it was indeed quite secluded. we went there last year, after cny. the map given by the hotel was very useful in guiding us there. tak payah guna gps.
the second nite tu, we all drive to lumut town, mkn seafood.
the live band still around?

Awesome blog! Is your theme custom made or did you download it from somewhere?

A design like yours with a few simple tweeks would
really make my blog shine. Please let me know where you got your design.
Cheers
