Ini lah gambar paling popular hari ini:):) Mengundang owhhh..auhhhh..aahhh;):) Kelihatan dua mem besar berkorset dan memakai rok merah yang menawan mengapit putera dan puteri mereka yang di satukan;);)

"Heti Koes Endang" ini mendiami rumah saya lebih dari 5 tahun yang lalu:);) Keluarganya sangat sedih melepaskan dia bekerja di Malaysia,takut perkara2 buruk yang didengar seperti di dera,tak dapat makan dan sebagainya terjadi pada beliau. Jadi pada tahun pertama di berkerja dan balik dalam keadaan sihat walfiat puteri bongsu di dalam gambar ini yang pada masa itu masih sekolah telah mengirimkan sepucuk surat kepada saya dan antaranya berbunyi '...Puan terima kasih kerana menjaga ibu saya dengan baik....." Pengorbanan seorang ibu tak dapat di gambarkan meninggalkan anak gadis yang masih kecil,anak2 lain yang masih perlu ibu demi mencari rezki..mencari rezki itu bukan lah bekerja di gedung besar yang berhawa dingin tetapi membanting tulang empat kerat..menggosok periuk di dapur orang, menyental tandas dan longkang..dengan baju yang comot dan peluh mengalir di dahi..boleh mengalir air mata anak yang prihatin jika melihatnya.Moga anak2nya sentiasa ingat pengorbanan ibu yang besar.Saya bukan seorang majikan yang sangat bagus cuma mahu menjadi manusia yang tidak zalim kepada manusia lain,jika dia tidak mengkhianati makan lah apa saja di meja saya,tidurlah bila ngantuk di bilik yang di pasang lagu..berlibur lah dihari minggu ke mana saja..kerna apa yang membezakan kita adalah perbezaan nasib dan keberuntungan hidup kurniaan Allah Swt yang bukan kekal.

Alhamdulillah dengan 'rezki' yang Allah Swt beri,ianya datang dalam pelbagai bentuk,di dalam doa selalu saya memohon yang terbaik buat anak2 yang masih kecil dan ibu tua yang terpaksa saya tinggalkan di siang hari demi mencari rezki.

On the lighter side; can you believe that this Mem Besar in red is my pembantu si Heni! macam Cinderella kan..dari habuk dan arang menjadi pelakon sinetron! he he..tak sabar2 dia nak tunjuk gambar2 pada saya pagi tadi:)

As usual banyak lah barang2 makanan untuk kami seperti brownies yang sedap ni.Di sana budaya nya mereka tempah few types of cakes untuk di beri sepotong sorang kepada tetamu di samping glass yang cantik dan gula2 kacang.

Emak Heni sentiasa mengirimkan keropok belinjau dengan banyak buat saya,bila dia mengetahui saya suka makan,kalau tak musim pun mesti dia mencari di kampungnya buat saya.Di daerah Lampung dia orang buat sendiri keropok ini dengan menumbuk buah belinjau di dalam lesong kayu.

Semalam sebenarnya saya memberitahu suami gas stove di dapur belakang telah berkarat,Perlu di tukar dengan segera!jadi kami pun pergi lah ke mall dan i saw one beautiful Rinnai gas stove dan teruslah berkenan nak angkut balik semalam.Unfortunately there's no stock at the shop and i have to wait until weekend.Hari ni Heni balik dia dah sental karat tu hingga karat give up dan lari!!! Aduhhhh kecewa saya nak beli stove baru..gimana ya:);)

Anyway saya tak lah kecewa sangat duduk didepan pc ni sambil menaip dan menyuap brownies ni menyejukkan hati saya.

Menjawab apa yang Ramadhan cakap mesti Heni stress dengan saya yang banyak cekadak *wink*wink*..he he i dont think so InshAllah..last 2 years,dia habis duit di airport jakarta sebab di telan oleh pihak tak bertanggungjawab di sana,dia meminjam duit di KLIA demi nak balik kerumah saya. Last year dia hilang alamat nak bagi teksi nak balik sini..dia berusaha memberi panduan ke drebar teksi hingga ke sungai buloh!!! until drebar teksi give up and called my home at 3.00 am.Last night dia tak muncul2 saya ingat dia tak nak balik lagi..pagi2 saya dah cakap kat hb get ready RM8K bergolok bergadai we have to get replacement maid..tiba2 dia muncul pukul 7 pagi..rupanya flight delay dan demi tak nak kacau saya tengah2 malam ..dia bermalam di surau di KLIA.Alhmandulillah itu setakat ini..di masa depan saya berdoa di beri kebaikan oleh Allah swt lagi.

Tapi just like my anak2 or any family member saya mesti membebel dan marah kalau tak betul.bagi saya teguran,leteran tidak ada kena mengena dengan kasih sayang..macam kerja di mana jua termasuk di pejabat menteri kalau tak betul mesti lah di perbetulkan kan,di ajar supaya membuat yang betul.So nak jadi my anak angkat kena sabar,susun paper tak betul dalam cabinet,letak kotak santan senget dalam drawer i ll piat telinga!!!

Macam tu lah ceritanya..sangat panjang pulak cerita saya ;( sangat penat sebenarnya..malam tadi tak tidur,saya kalau ada org nak datang rumah atau nak balik selagi tak sampai i cannot sleep..today pulak i have back to back meeting sehingga terpaksa tinggal Tia Mia di kindy until petang tak sempat nak fetch during lunch time.

Thanks All;) Semua wanita pun sama bab kemas mengemas alih mengalih ni kan,tak kira dapur kita kecik,budget tak besar asal sedap di mata kita dan keluarga cukup lah. Pada yang ada ruang besar,budget pun besar mesti sangat seronok boleh ada pantry,separate laundry room with all the modern gadgets;) Again our kitchen or any other room in our house reflect ourself, the word 'nice,cosy,happening is very subjective.The most important is ;it got to be clean,put things in it's place and give 'life' to it by spending time with your family in it. A room or kitchen is meaningless if we keep tiptoeing walking in it to avoid knocking into our crystal or chandelier.

My goodness I am so tired but nothing hurt me more than the fact that my holiday is coming to an end;( Really tak puas lagi..i thought of extending it to another two days but my girl from the office shattered my dream when she smsed today to inform me about a meeting tomorrow. How could i attend a meeting tomorrow with no mood..kat Bangsar pulak tu:(:(

When my brother came to send Uwan today i told him " Acik bestnyerrr cuti duk rumah" He said ' yelah tu..sebab sekojap kalau tak kau mesti boring" I said " Tak lah Cik..bestttt..pagi hantar Tia Mia pi kindy dah tu duduk kopitiam minum kopi,makan sup,baca magazine tunggu kedai bukak..dah tu cuci mata,boli barang,..apo pulak tak best..berbulan pun boleh camtu"..he he my Acik stilled tak nak kalah,he said " iyo kalau dah bertahun mesti kau tak tahan"..ha ha...ha..that statement came from a Pensioner and i have to bear it in mind;)

Macam mana tak best..pagi i just grab my favourite bag( thanks Kak Nur suruh saya beli bag VB ni kat Paris dulu..dah jadi my favourite bag dah..so usefull)  and drive the kids to kindy;)

Then i just sat at the Kopitiam ordered Ipoh Chicken Hor Fun chicken soup with black tea:)Sup ni macam sedap giler kat Old White Kopitiam OU..rasa nak repeat lagi today:)

Kedai dah bukak i pi shopping..penat dan trolley dah penuh pergi rehatkan kaki dan isi perut;);)

Dari ambik budak2 tanya pulak they nak makan lagi tak..kalau ya,singgah makan lagi..yeayyyy

Petang jadi surirumah tersohor..masak rendang walaupun bukan raya;)

Then wait for your husband to come back for dinner with the kids.Bila malam hujan bunyi dentum dentam tu takut pulak tinggal  bertiga ajer..so duduk depan TV, 3 orang berselimut..ohhh sungguh nyaman;) 

Everybody woke up with good mood in the morning;)

One of my good buy from Ikea- Milk Froth Maker:) It is battery operated.

Sampai kembang hidung minum susu ada froth..seronok betul they all.

Sebab good mood pagi2 pun buat breakfast yang leceh sikit..my first attempt buat Pie with Flaky pastry..rupa buruk tapi rasa ada.

Salmon and potato au gratin pie with flaky pastry..i beli unbaked pastry sheet yang frozen .tapi tak berapa pandai nak separate kan the sheet sebab tu tak cantik.Ada tips macam mana nak separate the sheet supaya tak lekat2?

Today the papa was on leave, we promised the girls a trip to the Zoo..but i only finished my kemas2..susun segala benda makdatuk dalam cabinet at 12.30 so tak lah sempat pi Zoo.Kesian both we took them to YuKids OU.After dah kemas the cabinet susun dan simpan semua benda dalam container banyak rupanya ruang dalam cabinet.My cabinet under the sink Heni letak segala suratkhabar buruk etc..nak carik plastic sampah pun tak jumpa,ibarat bukak terus muntah segala isi..bila dah susun hanya 1/3 ruang yg digunakan.

We conclude our day with sweet moment today..like it or not Wednesday will come to an end..Thursday is coming and Friday is waiting..yeayyyyyy;)

My Kitchen@Budget Makeover.

I always love makeover since i was small:)

It is in me, i need to tweak or change something in the house.If i have money i ll buy small new things but most of the time i just makeover my mom's kitchen/house without buying anything.Grew up in a kampung with spacious house; kitchen open to a garden and veges patch,bedroom with big door to a Bunga Cina bushes- i need space and fresh look .

Makeover is not about 'showroom kitchen/house",it is about your own satisfaction,in the old days without blog or fb you just keep your makeover close to your heart.If people says smell of a new leather brings satisfaction to them; to me fresh linen,crisp air in the kitchen and delicious aroma from a newly baked cake brighten up my days.

My kitchen is 8 years old:) I didn't change much,i make do with most the aging things in it- my dream as always is to build a new house,new kitchen.Recently i look around and i saw my 4 tiers plastic rack is like dying carrying all the plastic cutleries,milk bottles,free plastic containers and it was placed in the middle of the kitchen next to our dining table- it was an eyesore.I told Heni few times to put most of it in the cabinet as the two girls are already 5 years old but she said not enough space.Well that is the dilemma for a kictchen in a double storey house,teeny weeny space but we have to make do and be creative.

I need space to move around and i can't wait for a new house to be built in order to have that. It is not that I want to place a treadmill in the kitchen,i just need a cosy and unrestricted nook for family to have meal,space to keep my baking items; all in all i need a cosy kitchen just like a bedroom where you can rest and have fun!For the past few weeks i have listed down things that i need to change with little spending- finally i had an idea which in the beginning sounds like impossible but after carefull explanation my husband had agreed;):)

I started my little project with my husband on Saturday. It involved a lot of works and patience,with backache,taking out hundred of things from the cabinet and put it back,without determination it will fail.The result- well nothing much from the outside but i have cleaned things which supposed to be cleaned ages ago and now i have quite a decent cabinets;) tak ler habis jatuh barang bila bukak kan:):)

Before that Please Dont be offended- if you expect much this is not Martha Stewart kinda of Makeover,this is just me playing with my kitchen:):)

I bought new knobs for my kitchen cabinet;) No money to change the cabinet or too messy to give a new coat-solution is just change the knobs!

After spending hours at the knobs shop i decided on these knobs- they are the same like my kitchen in the house i ve sold.Something sweet and nice is better to be kept and remembered:)

Matching long handle for pull out kitchen drawers.

If you remember the old knobs were black metal,the new knobs made the cabinet looks brighter.But the work behind was not simple.There were 24 knobs to be change and for each drawer my husband needs to take it out,put out the things inside,dimantle the wood cover inside the drawer,put the knob,screw it back,put the wood cover screw it back..so and so on.

I took out few things from my store for decoration, i ve been keeping it for long.I love this copper pan,it was a set of 4 and gift from a friend,she bought it in UK.Thanks Ita.

I love this antique mould too, it is heavy and was a good buy from Swan Valley,WA.

To create a cafe atmosphere hang I some old pictures,each was priced AUD6.00 from an antique shop,they were 1845 pictures with original signature at the back.

Birthday present from a staff.

I like flower or fruits wreath and you can find many during this upcoming Christmas season.

The biggest challenge to create more space in the kitchen was to move my truly big and bulky 7 years old fridge.With hundred kilos of food; first we thought it was impossible- how do move it from the kitchen to the study room- there's a  little split level between the two.Nak angkat dari floor dapur yang lebih rendah ke floor studyroom yang lebih tinggi macam nak mati!I took out everything and macam nak nangis,there were endless bottles,containers,can drinks etc..the floor became wet and to make it worst..botol kicap pecah..lalu nangis:) But we finally managed- two heads are better than one- our fridge is now safe and sound in the studyroom next to our kitchen.

For this makeover i bought two main things, there were cheap furnitures from Ikea- one is this open cabinet to store and keep cakes and baking items like cake stand,recipe books,etc.

To soften the cabinet look,i added plastic laces/dollies to the shelves.

I love this section,now i dont have to keep all these nice things in the closed cabinet,it can be a display also it can  be  used at anytime.

I changed my kitchen curtains with these  lace curtains.It is simple,no sewing needed and not expensive.

Finally this is what i have in the kitchen.More space to move around,cosy meal area with bench and cushions for the girls.

The black bench is another buy from Ikea and it was priced at RM299.

I like unformal meal area with bench and few pillows where we can sit for long and continue chatting.

The kitchen tablecloth were from Yvoire,Geneva,Tia Mia yang pilih because banyak hearts.The tea towel which i used to cover my open cabinet and on the oven were gift from Kak Nur Paris;);) My open cabinet at the bottom tu was for Oven actually but i found i rather odd to place an oven at the corner and at that level.The open cabinet above it was meant for small tv,there was a pull out shelf below to store a DVD player,tapi in the end tak guna..masa buat dulu tak plan betul2.

This kitchen tea towel was from Anncey,France, too beautiful nak lap tangan;)

So that was my little makeover..dapat lah keluarkan barang2 nak display dari terperap dalam almari;)

Working table at the wet kitchen got a new baju too;) Plus a chopping board beli dari travelling.

Ini tempat duduk Heni lipat baju..i kemas kan jugak.

The girls suka buat their painting here.

Now we ada space lebih sikit lah untuk makan dan borak2;)

Jugak buat activity.

But the problem of having a fridge in the study room is ;you tend to open it frequently..especially when you have favourite ice cream inside!

But i guess it's okay to treat myself with my favourite things after all the hardwork.

My good buy today at Parkson Elite ( wuishhh Parkson Elite dah tak jual plastic2 dah,,semua branded items..there were many Kitchen Aid on display..with colour meruntun perasaan,the colourful ones were priced at RM2799 while the white one was at RM1999 ..waaa paying additional RM800 for colour you)

Okay lah itu saja cerita..nite2 semua;) I am still very tired..but masih ada nak hunt few small things he he..pada yang comment about my blog new look..please bear with me,i like my  new font so much last time but since some you said susah nak baca i berkorban tukar, it took me sometimes to create the new look, i had to google pictures,changed about hundred of times,the font,the colour etc..i bukan pandai IT so it was a hardwork for me, satu hari spent buat itu ajer, bak kata orang penat pun tak habis lagi:);) If you feel my blog new look is so disturbing i am sorry;) but i kinda like it and will keep it for sometimes,will think about changing it once i got bored just like my kitchen makeover.

Orang2 Perth cepat response pagi ni.(terus rasa miss perth...alasan kan:):).sekejap post problem dah ramai yang hulur bantuan,Zulfadly ,Lemongrass,Gina Manan(thanks so much Gina,email akak ada kat bawah yer),Anon,Fairy,Umiyumi (thanks Umi,saya tengok tutorial kat blog Umi),Kak Kasihredha,Nur-Nba,Sarah (Mommy Idraki),Abang Ramadhan (auww) dan Anon.Nak cuba semua yang di cadangkan tapi cuba tutorial Qaseh di blog Umi dulu,Alhamdulillah successful, I am so glad:) So here some pictures and stories..i penat gila hari ni mengalih fridge hampir seratus kilo dengan Mr Sherlock Holmes..macam mission impossible,so berat gila fridge lama tu:) Tapi kami tekad dari dapur dapat bawak ke bilik study ha ha..segala trick dan method cuba nak menggerakkan fridge berat gilerr..barang kat dalam dia bila dah keluarkan nangis you..nak masuk balik..rupanya i ada hampir 10 jenis soy sauce! dalam 5 botol peanut butter, berjenis2 spread dengan blue poupon bagai..he he..so macam nak pecah pinggang berkemas..but as a thank you note..i share sikit gambar..tapi sikit ajer tau..sebab belum siap sangat..bukan lah buat apa sangat pun...gempak jer lebih..but i got bigger space now in my dry kitchen setelah menghalau my buruk fridge ke bilik study..hmmm should i get a new fridge? It's not too much to change a more than 7 years fridge right??

Ceritanya..Thursday cuti pun bermula..so nyaman dan damai;) Bila cuti ni bukan apa sangat yang nak..bukanlah nak makan sana sini..sebab dah tiap hari pun masa office makan kat the Mall.When holiday i just need time at home,longer time in bed,in bathroom and in the kitchen..simple food like Mee soup with chili jeruk sangat sedap..makan kat backyard yang sempit kat meja laundry pun sangat fun:)

Thursday after breakfast we took uwan out for lunch;) Kalau bawak Uwan tak boleh banyak itenaries,dia dah tak berapa laju sekarang walaupun sangat cekal hati:) So kena carik mall yang parking betul2 depan lift,naik lift masuk restaurant,keluar restaurant boleh masuk lift kemana-mana:)

We had Thai food with Uwan at Ikano.

I ordered yang benda yang kena dengan tekak Uwan,kerapu deep fried dengan soy sauce,pandan chicken and taugeh dengan ikan masin,..nampak boleh tahan jugak uwan makan.

Friday Night my niece came and brought Uwan to my sister's house:) So tinggalah us..Friday ada class Iqraq di rumah:) :) He he lihat tu..Heni tak ada pun  lantai berkilat tau..baru 2 hari ler katakan cuba sebulan:) Anyway i biar the two main sesuka hati but lepas tu you kemas sendiri no tolong2;)

Menunggu Ustazah..I  naik Buku Iqraq baru minggu ni..he he biarlah lambat asal dapat dan ingat:) Ustazah pun bagus ikut syllabus sekolah..ada latihan menulis jugak bagi dua orang ni.

Tapi macam ni lah cara orang senior macam i belajar..siap beli jiwa ustazah dengan keropok lekor..ha ha ustazah jangan jeling2 saya..nanti saya buat Rosemary Chicken kat ustazah okay;)

Lepas ustazah balik..the two buat pizza..lapar sebab hujan tak berhenti kan.

Malam hujan yang sejuk i masak sup tulang untuk panaskan badan.

Tambah dengan terung bakar dengan sambal cili bercampur limau dan belacan..sangat sodap:)

And nak tunjuk dapur berkecah gila hari ni....

My goodness i have hundreds of ikeas plates,cups,cutleries..macam buntu mula2 nak simpan benda2 ni semua.

Bila mula2 bongkar segala cabinet etc..macam nak nagis tengok..camana nak kemas ni..but menjelang Maghrib Alhamdulillah..dah banyak clear..dan tengok pun mula happy..

Tunjuk sikit..saya dah gantung my copper collections sikit2(kita tukang gantung ajo,yang kelentung kelentang nya Mr sherlock holmes ler)..lambat bebenor nak tunggu kitchen dan rumah baru..gantung ajo lah kat rumah yang ada dulu ye tak? Lepas berhempas pulas..malam kita orang keluar makan kat nasi Kandar..hishh sepinggan nasi lauk kurma ayam,goreng telur ikan dan sayur peria i bantai..dah tu hb punya nan cheese pun i tumpang..sambil suap tosai Tia Mia pun suap kat mulut sendiri jugak..macam orang kerja ladang getah seekar lah penat neyrrr..he he...

Pstt..my friend yang pi US dah  PM me and she said she has ordered Kitchen Aid for me:) I asked her to buy old stock (nak jimat gila kan..old stock is priced at USD225) but she bought new range and price at USD320 which is less than RM1K..i asked her to buy voltage converter too:) Okay lah kan the price,the colour is white as that is the cheapest but I dont mind i always like things in white;);) So now i tunggu dia shipkan together with her barang2..sabar menanti..dah dapat nanti kita eksen2 tunjuk gambo okay.

Happy Sunday everybody..i still have my holiday until Wednesday ..he he sangat syok..esok nak cari Flower wreath..kan banyak nak Christmas ni kan;)
