Hi folks:) Borak session is at the end of this entry ya:)

We welcome Ribbon and Heart at our home today.The original Ribbon was lost few months back,the girls and Uwan miss her a lot, today i took the three of them to Pet Shop and we bought these two furry cuties:)

Tia and Mia are really happy,uwan too infact:):) 

I asked husband whether he has any carpentries skills..he said "of course!"..well if you say so let's find some wood and roof and build ribbon and heart's home together:):) i would love to do that..when i was small my abah was very handy,he can build bangsal,reban ayam,pagar and many,many things.And it is always nice to see the result even if he made a simple bench for our garden.The best handwork that i really love was a rose arch..he built an arch and my emak planted country roses at the base,after few months we have roses bushes crawling the arch..the roses were pink and had sweet smell,it was really lovely..if i close my eyes i can still smell the sweet scent:)

he,he i finally can upload and edit pictures using my Macbook Air now..thank you to Ikin,she came this evening and  gave me an extensive tutorial:) I love my Mac more now..scrolling,editing, is so much easier and fun:):) I love this vignette effect..you gonna see more of it after this.

This entry is very much about garden..if you don't like gardening and planting you gonna be bored to death! her..heee.We bought bitter gourd(peria katak) and angled loofa (petola) seeds from Cameron so we gonna  grow it today. I always love gardening and i feel that planting&growing bring wonderful feeling and satisfaction. I want Tia Mia to develop this hobby and they have showed a very good sign.

We started with transferring Hyacinthus into bigger pot..i have a big challenge here since few readers are looking forward to the result:) Shamsuhada..harap2 den punya Hyachintus ni hidup and boleh bagi "recipe" kat kau:):)

I taught them step by step on how to put soil in the pot,making hole in the middle etc,etc..as we going through it i told them few things about gardening like cactus cannot be watered everyday as they retain water in their body,plants need sun for making their own food and like any other living things they need to be love and cherish too:):).

Both are good at planting,they are fast learners:)

Our garden is not big but we have enough space to do our activities.

Hyachintus already been transferred into bigger pot,i have put some fertilizers and it needs to be watered twice a day.

Now all ready,hope it will bear good result in few weeks time.

And they found home near our garden sink.

Done with garden.let's go inside and see what need to be change..cuti gonna end soon..so better do alih mengalih,tukar menukar now;)

Kitchen got a new green floor mat and table cloth.

The table cloth was from British Homes before they closed down..tersorok  lama in the wardrobe..so made a point to change the kitchen table cloth today.

Rack at the back needs some tidying and cleaning too.

Even ini pun kena kemas kan..i suka tengok bawang,kentang simpan dalam rattan basket in pullout cabinet but my present small kitchen don;t allow me to have it..i once had it at the sold house,one day if i have an island in the kitchen i will make sure to have the pullout rattan basket.

I bought many potted plants from Ikea yesterday..the stove got a pot too:):)

And a white pot for the kitchen table.

Actually i ve been wanting to replace my sofa in the bedroom for a long time as it is very old and worn out already.But it is not easy to dispose an old furniture at my area..so i decided to give it a little facelift:)

Yesterday i bought a RM19.90 green blanket from Ikea and  gave the sofa a nice wrap:):) It gave an instant refreshing look.This sofa holds many memories; it was our pride and joy when were just got married, it witnessed me sang rhymes and read babies books when Tia Mia were babies..few years back every morning without fail before i go to office i will sit on the sofa with Tia and Mia on my right and left lap and read book to them.So this old lady need a facelift and is saved by Ikea blankie;):)

One whole day doing 'home and garden'..now time to layan tummy..as ikin was in the house today i cooked fish curry with CH eggplant,mixed veges soup and sardines with petai:)

Walaupun Home and Garden entry i just wanna show a korean jubah i bought for myself while shopping baju for uwan today:) Nice isn't it? I met an elderly lady at the shop,she was buying baju for herself so she told me that  i will look nice in this dress as i have the 'height'..she was very friendly and went on seeking my advice on the blouse and pant that she's going to buy:):)

Okay lah that's about it ..today's garden tips;wash all your garden tools after using ,keep it together   in either a box or basket so that it will be easier for you to use it next time.

Papa is not working tomorrow and we have promised these two sunshines to go see Alvin and The Chipmunks.If the plan is on this will be their first trip to cinema,Ikin has recommended Gold Class at GSC,she said the package includes food (sandwiches,popcorns,drinks and blanket) there will be very small audience in 1 cinema.It is quite pricey as it priced at RM40.00 + RM10.00 = RM50.00 per head...but it is quite tempting to give a try..let see tomorrow whether we can get a place;):)

Good Morning to a beautiful morning..it is nice to see roses on your bedroom sink by the mirror:) Wish to have a garden fulled with blooms and whenever you want to have bouquet of flower on your table,you just pick it.When i was small my emak used to put "bunga cina"  yang wangi in our room..kalau ingatkan balik that bunga cina so cantik,the petal was thick and wangi..nowadays tak ada lagi rasanya.

Today i left the two kenits at home:) i went out for lunch at 11.30 with two special "kakaks"..the two insisted nak makan kat "Muhibbah Restaurant" TTDI..the restaurant dah pindah tempat ke a single building kat Kampung Sungai Penchala..i left my car at office and wait for Datin kakak to fetch me in her Mercz:):) seronok lah sekali sekali the kakak datang fetch and layan2 me;);)So this is a new setting for Muhibbah..quite nice kan.

Now the theme colour is green unlike at TTDI dulu the typical alas meja merah.

Kalau nak buat wedding reception kat sini pun boleh.

We ordered our favourite deep fried sotong.

Kak M asked me to order so i ordered my favourite kerabu pucuk paku.

Kambas (big bitter gourd) goreng telur masin.

siakap with ginger plus cockels in chillies and sangkong tofu..tak ingat makan lah kita orang:)

After berborak,bergossip,ketawa hingga keluar air mata we pun balik..and me singgah kat Ikea..cuci2 mata kejap..kalau dengan TiaMia susahlah nak belek2 barang;):)

Kat ikea ni tengok benda2 simple dia pun best;)

After beli two chopping boards,some green plants,TiaMia's drawing paper,cooking set,towels etc,etc..yeap at ikea kalau pergi always lah the etc,etc tu entah apa yang di beli tengok murah angkut jugak..kaki pun penat..stopped at The Baker..Tia Mia suka sandwich kat sini..so penat and haus i boleh sedut drink ni dalam sekelip mata..heee..heee

Sandwiches ready; nama semua canggih- Norwegian flying Salmon for TiaMia,Flying Shrimp with eggs for mama and special beef salami for papa..it costed me RM33 for sandwiches;);)

Demi anak..berkorbanlah menolak dua balloon pink ni ke sana sini;);)Dia dah specify in details " we want a dark pink heart shapes helium balloon with purple flower at the bottom,we want the one with string attached to a coin:"..so mama pun pi lah cakap kat lady balloony tu the exact words;):)

Balik rumah they terlompat-lompat happy penat pun hilang..i bought this white pot from Ikea..nice kan...the fern pun from ikea.

Ann tanya tempat letak remote control ni;) ni hadiah dari a blogger friend ;Ita and 4Kes,it is copper and she bought a few for me from UK since dia tahu  i suka copper.

and i bought this cute plant stand too.

Not so sure whether this hyacinthus bulbs will bear blooms in the end but i took a chance and bought two..nanti esok nak pindahkan dalam bigger pot..hopefully will sampai keluar bunga.

Ivy is cheap at ikea compared to nursery so i bought a few..ivy pun jenis susah nak hidup jugak..they need a place to crawl.

The girls dapat banyak benda jugak..since mama teringat zaman kecik2 main masak2 dulu..the mama pun seronok lah membeli cooking sets yang comel ni dari ikea.

Very sweet ceramic bowl set..the girls kena bagi tanggungjawab untuk jaga the set.

Tiny steels pots and pans plus the whisk,spatula etc etc.

Seronok lah budak dua orang ni..dulu2 my zaman i main kat bangsal my father..so boleh lah buat semak,basah macam2..tak pun main dalam pondok buat sendiri  sangat seronok bila my emak beli kan set masak2..tak boleh cerita bangga nya nak tunjuk kawan2 masa tu;):)

So it was tea for two for both this evening.

Berhutang recipe dengan salah seorang reader this grilled chicken.Actually ni recipe i cipta sendiri saja which sedap i rasa.Ayam boleh di potong2 atau belah dua atau seekor cuma pastikan ianya mesti lah betul2 fresh..tak ada lebam,dah tak ada darah etc.Kalau sekor atau half,kelar2 lah ayam tu..dah tu tumbuk sedikit halia,bawang putih dalam satu atau dua labu,bawang merah,dan lada hitam,tumbuk kasar2,campur garam,yoghurt dan olive oil..dah tu lumur seluruh ayam termasuk bawah2 kulit ayam tu..psiahkan dengan jari kulit dari daging masa nak lumur tu..kalau ada masa perap lah kejap macam 1/2 hour kalau tak der masa..masuk ajer lah dalam oven yang dah di panaskan ke 200 degress..bila ayam nampak dah garing sikit kat luar turunkan temperature to 150 biar lah lama2 sikit hingga betul2 masak.Why kita terus dengan api panas,supaya bahagian luar terus masak dan juice dalam ayam tak sempat keluar,kalau api perlahan,semua juice keluar dan ayam jadi kering dan tak sedap.

Style ni ayam boleh jadi lauk dengan nasi aatu makan macam tu ajer;)..huishhh petai tetap nak enterframe kan;)

Siapa yang ada bertanya Princess Griller ni..kalau dah beli boleh lah cuba menu yang simple tapi sedap ni.

Menu ni guna wholemeal pita bread..senang ajer potong roti pita into two i.e jadi pocket,buatkan inti dengan tumis mince meats dengan bawang,parsley hingga wangi.Masuk kan dalam pita dengan berselang seli cheddar cheese..sapu butter pada kedua dua belah roti..dah tu bakar hingga atas bawah jadi kuning macam ni.

Sangat sedap makan masa panas,masa cheese masih meleleh..

Kalau rajin buat lah bake potato..dah amsak belah dua bubuh sour cream and kalau ada lebih mince meat tu boleh tabur kat atas..hmmm i love sour cream with baked potato very very very the very much:):)

Pada yang bertanya macam mana nak buat jeruk petai..sangat lah senang..tak payah pakai cuka atau apa2..cuma perlu rebus petai sampai kulit jadi soft sikit dan boleh picit petai tu keluar..nak dapat jeruk yang bagus petai mestilah betul2 tua..dah picit semua isi keluar basuh sikit..dan masukkan dalam botol..bubuh air masak dan garam..garam janganlah terlalu banyak,nanti dia jadi kecut and masin sangat pun tak best..tutup botol rapat and after a week boleh lah makan.

So selamat memasak pada semua..p.s i love this french kitchen with its hanged copper very very much..i sangat suka copper.
