I love birthdays! Especially Sultan Selangor Birthday:):) Kalau dia nak celebrate birthday 3 kali seminggu pun I ll give my full support..ha ha:):) Kemaruk cuti ler kan..esok Selangor tak der ke nak celebrate apa2 dah:(:( I rasa macam Sabtu jer ni:):)
Anyway we buat macam2 jugak lah cuti sehari ni:):)

Evening..is time to bake!..since i bought few cheap baking/cooking books from Popular not long time ago..i decided to try one that requires the use of Bundt Pan..sajalah kan.
I nak use Nordic ware budak perempuan dua orang tu nak Wilton Belle Pan..so gunalah mould bertingkat-tingkat ni:) I picked one recipe "Gingerbread Bundt Cake" tapi i tukar jadi "Mocha Bundt Cake".Frankly speaking as expected tak semua recipe dalam buku yang really bagus.Same goes to this one,kena adjust sana sini..i still prefer to take recipes from website yang orang dah cuba dan ada testimonials:) Anyway kalau siapa nak mencuba i ll letak recipe kat bawah nanti.
Cantik jugak hasilnya kan..kena bake lama sebab cake tebal walaupun ada hole in the middle but the mould is really wonderful..evenly baked and senang nak keluarkan.
Texture not really moist but soft and a bit fluffy..light cake i would say especially bila i dah kurangkan sugar banyak:)
For mocha taste I bubuh cocoa dan coffee powder. Tak lah sempat nak bubuh sugar dust dah nak kena potong:)
After sejuk sikit boleh lah dust dengan this wonderful Vanilla Beans Dusting sugar..sedap bau dan rasa dia.
I love the effect..simple and elegant:):)
Mocha Bundt cake with Vanilla beans sugar dust- adaptation from Gingerbread Bundt Cake.
Sambil masak cake..ada lah orang lapar tak sabar2..so sambil tunggu cake yang nak masak 1 1/2 jam tu I throw the white fish fillet,brocolli and osyter mushroom with garlic,lemon juice,salt,olive oil into Happy Pan.10 mins done!
This morning after masak breakfast kat Uwan,we went jogging at TTDI park actually..tapi baru selengkok jogging ada budak dah jatuh atas tarmac..kulit lutut kena scrapped- banyak jugak lah darah:( kesian..tapi kena suruh jadi tough:)
Nasib baik dalam mama's bag ada sanitized wet tissue,water so boleh lah basuh,sanitized dan meloncat semuala.
Tak per after this we go and eat okay.
We went and ate breakfast at Old White Kopitiam and we ordered Ipoh Hor Fun soup,garlic bread and Cookie crumb drink.After that we went to mama's favourite dessert shop and ordered Chocolate dip Churros..tengok these two tak sabar2 tengok orang goreng Churros.
Churros yang panas2 memang tak terkata sedapnya makan dengan sugar dusting ni pun dah sedap.Churros sangat popular waktu breakfast di Spain:):)
To make the girls happy i ordered Churros with Chocolate dip, ada a few types kat sini termasuk yang ada filling like strawberry,blueberry,cocholate,custard etc.
So that is our Day Off...esok dah kena kerja balik.nasib baik Saturday is approaching:):)
Mocha Bundt Cake Recipe.
Ingredients
250g soft butter, 1 1/4cup sugar,500g self raising flour, 1 cup milk,a pinch of salt,5 eggs,5 tablespoon unsweetend cocoa powder and 2 spoon ground coffee.
Method
Cream your butter and sugar until soft and fulffy,add eggs one by one and beat well until pale and light. Sift your flour,cocoa powder,coffee and salt together,add into the mixture and combine well.Pour your milk into mixture gradually until it forms a soft batter.Grease your bundt pan well and put into the pre heated oven,bake for 1 1/2 hours or until baked well.As usual for athick cake or cake with lot of butter the top will get burn after 1/2 so cover with aluminium foil or baking sheet and let it bake betul2.
After dah sejuk sikit boleh dust dengan Vanilla beans dusting sugar or just plain sugar dust or icing sugar:)
Pada yang risau nak bake cake takut gemok..ha ha tak kan lah..you buat cake bukan you makan habis sebijik tu..:):) cuma passion and boleh menggembirakan banyak hati dengan berkongsi;);)

Me ada bought juga bundt pan masa sale kat sogo baru nie, quite cheap and heavy juga and me bake blueberry pound cake - recipe from CMG. masa terbalikkan tu, dia melekat..haishhh..pecah 2 kek tu me kerjakan sebab nak kasi dia keluar dari pan tu..uwaaaa..or kek mesti betul sejuk betul2 dulu, or bundt pan is only suitable for bundt cake..still experimenting..

Churros memang sangat sedap.Selalunya knur buat sendiri aje,tapi sejak ada xmas market kat depan rumah ni selalulah pergi beli.Sejuk2 menggigil makan churros panas2..bestttt...
