How do like your eggs in the morning?:):)

How do you like your eggs in the morning? Soft and tender? Hard and choking? He he there's a lot of funny ( a bit dirty) jokes regarding eggs in the morning story:);) Ada yang nak letak talcum powder on the eggs too:):) he he:):)

Lets talk about food today(as if I hardly talk about food ehh..he he).Well one Sis(eqa) asked me about how to cook perfect soft boiled eggs in the previous post, i ve decided to talk about it here;



Before that, would like to  share with all of you my sedap crab soup last night:) To those asking how to cook during weekdays after coming back from office? You must choose the simple cooking but with delicious result:) Macam crab soup ni semua rebus saja, rebus air with chicken stock,masuk diced onion,garlic,ginger aand some crushed white pepper.Tambah cauliflower,crab,soft tofu,mushroom, fishballs and  daun saderi. sangat sedap menghirup soup yang kuahnya manis2 dari air ketam di malam yang dingin:) Itu saja lauk last night with ikan bilis besar goreng garing dan ulam kacang botol with cencaluk berkulit limau.Semua sedap selera:)

To eqa yang tanya how to boil perfect soft eggs? Tak ada rules atau masa yang tepat- it's all about anggaran dan practice. If you read ;semua sependapat cakap for soft boiled eggs you have to boil for 3 minutes or the most 3 mins 20 seconds,hard boiled is 5 mins and above. I rebus tak pernah tengok jam atau minutes ikut anggaran, bila dah mendidih i tunggu sekejap macam boleh kira 1- 10, dah tu I tutup api dan ketepikan periuk dari stove,sebab atas stove nanti dia panas lagi. Dah tu i biar dalam air panas tu macam kira 1- 10 (he he sounds funny pulak) dah tu i buang air panas tu biar dia dalam periuk kejap,sebab kalau you immediately letak air sejuk nanti the yolk will be too runny.Alhamdulillah the eggs always turned out good sebab kalau terkeras ajer sikit the two girls tak suka- they dont eat hard boiled eggs.

But solution yang paling senang untuk eqa kalau suka soft boiled eggs tapi tak pandai buat- make poached eggs- easy to control and it will not let you down.But poached eggs pun tak lah senang jugak sebab ada teknik- So what is poached eggs?


This is poached eggs- nampak sangat sedap kan, yup memang sedap and healthier dari yang di goreng guna minyak.I love poached eggs with coarse salt and black pepper..so yummy:)

See the yolk,memang cair and sangat sedap.

Boleh buat macam2- sangat sedap makan dengan toast,salmon and rocket salad:)

So how to do it? Kena boil water in a shallow pot/pan. Bila dah mendidih kecikkan api,pecah kan telur dalam mangkuk dan dekatkan  mangkuk pada air mendidih dan masukkan perlahan-lahan, boleh guna sudu untuk kuak2 telur putih ketengah supaya tak bersepah dan jadi lebar sangat. Dah keras bawah sikit you can turn it perlahan-lahan- then up to you kalau suka cair banyak,cepat lah angkat kalau suka keras sikit biarkan lama sikit.

Teringat my poached eggs kat Perth in 2010- Their eggs sangat sedap sebab the yolk memang kuning dari kita kat sini.Dan sangat sedap makan dengan zuchinni, potato salad dan toast.


Poached eggs letak atas salad memang sedap..terus teringat makan lobster,salad,seafood chowder kat Freemantle! Rinduuuu lah nak Perth pulak,jom check enrich points papa;):) Last time pergi terjumpa papa's uncle yang datang meeting kat Perth and dia belanja makan lobster,oyster etc kat Oyster Bar di Freemantle sangat sedap:) Terus terasa nak makan lobster ni:);) tapi nak makan kat Freemantle he he he.


Seafood chowder dia super duper yummy- ada scallop,isi lobster dalam tu:)


And Tia Mia masih kecik masa ni:) Time flies so fast- in 3 years time they dah besar dah:)

Hishhh mentang2 ada balance cuti from last year another 5 days lagi,macam2 fikiran menerawang..he he..berharga cuti 5 hari tu tau..kena simpan macam emas:);)

Anywhere where you all be going this long weekend? So susah nak jalan2 mana2 kan..it will be jam- maybe should just stay at home and enjoy the time.

soft boiled egg, salad, timun and chili sos, kurma ayam or daging..ummphh..me stil failed lagi nak buat poached egg yang bulat camtu..mesti jadi leper ajer :-)..have a wonderful weekend azu and family :-)

soft boiled egg ni di antara telur setengah masak dengan hard boiled kan? Nampak lebih yummy dari keduanya...nak try buat la...nampak sedap dalam gambar tu

Ya Allah egg yolk itu nampak sungguh lazat dan menyelerakan ...hurmm terus nak buat toast bread with egg yolk kat atas..nyum nyum.. :)

Salam Azu. Setelah sekian lama jadik silent reader blog u (hari2 mesti jenguk tgk) ni baru nak ngomen, memang sangat suka tgk cara u buat sop terutama sop tulang dan ni ketam pulak tanpa tumis sebarang rencah kuah sop cantik bersih tanpa minyak.Berbagai cara dah cuba nak dpt half boiled egg siap beli alat rebus lagi still result x begitu memuaskan sebaik telur rebus mamak sebab egg yolk jadik keras, ok nak try cara 1-10 u pulak....buat poached egg utk mee bandung sangat cantik kalau guna cara pecahkan dalam pot tu. Tq 4 sharing.

aduh lamanya tak masak kat rumah, this weekend,cuti raya cina, seem like kita semua duk rumah n spend time with family...masak2, makan, masak2 n makan lagi hehehe...my twin also love soft boiled eggs so much, n Alhamdulillah, i have my own technique n setakat ni ok la tak fail lagi laa..poached egg pun satu choice yang menarik for breakfast...aduhhh..this week kena masak laaaa

my problem exactly. nak buat hard boiled egg takder hal, and for record, soft boiled tak pernah menjadik. Should try poaching next.

Gina mmg tak reti nak buat poarched egg tu until pergi Woolworths and jumpa satu pocket yang boleh buat poarched egg dengan mudah. Now dah terror dah ..hehehehhee

Poached eggs tu sedap dimakan dekat apa2 pun pada suka lah kann.
I prefer with toast bread.
Buatnya pulak, kadang2 ok kadang2 tak ok.
