Nasi lemak Kuala Pilah di Glenelg Beach,Adelaide.

We think the trip to Adelaide this time is one of the best :) It was short compared to our usually more than 14 days trip before, but it was one of the sweetest.

Before we continue with our story, nak jawab tentang jenis camera yang kami guna;

I used Olypmus pocket size camera only, not the canggih set with all kind of gadgets:) When you are a mother travelling with small kids you need a hassle free camera and user / space friendly. Sebab tak sempat nak bedek beriya ni- kadang2 ingat nak snap kadang2 lupa, sambil2 makan, jalan, atas kereta snap ajer mana yg sempat utk kenangan.Gambar di atas bukan lah the exact model lebih kurang sama sebab i malas nak pi bukak almari nak check model:). Masa beli 3 tahun dulu harga about RM800 now dah dapat 4,3 ratus rasanya:) It is not a perfect camera but boleh lah- i bukan professional photographer so i dont mind editing my not so perfect picture on my Apple. Anyway the camera has few mode-dramatic,beauty,panoramic etc- cuma the colour tak lah 100% perfect.

This is my old camera- i beli lama dulu when Tia Mia was small- i think this Canon is one of the best- tapi masa pergi Perth umur Tia Mia 3 tahun dia org jatuhkan camera ni atas batu- rosak lama jugak sebab tu i beli yg baru- camera ni effect dia sangat cantik tak payah edit di computer. After 4 tahun rosak hari tu nak pergi Adelaide i check i baik semula lah!! Tapi tak dapat guna sebab wayar nak charge dah hilang- battery tak boleh charge

Jom sambung cerita Nasi Lemak;)

For 6 days we stayed at this apartment- ada balcony kecik di luar main bedroom- malam2 Tia Mia will be accompanied by my husband and they love to look out from this balcony while waiting for me to prepare dinner. That is how we spent our holiday normally- no rushing to every tourist spots or try to cover as much area as possible. We just take our time- pagi after breakfast kita keluar, jalan or drive, petang duduk2 di park dan singgah di pasar or supermarket beli barang nak masak- cuaca yang cantik buat kita rasa enak jalan kaki atau duduk minum kopi yang sedap di tepi2 jalan Adelaide.

On Wednesday we bought few stuffs untuk masak- Thursday will be Christmas dan semua kedai  makan tutup- tapi we tak kisah, kita ada stock untuk masak. Ada kedai china di Central Market Adelaide semua barang Malaysia termasuk Brahim, santan cap ayam semua ada. And i beli 2 ekor ayam dari halal butcher, sebelum trip i dah google siap2 kat Halal Square utk carik butcher dan kedai yg halal- and kat Adelaide memang banyak. Dulu ada yang tanya tentang penggunaan pots and pans, cutleries etc- dulu ada jual sabun tanah liat Taharah- sangat senang utk travel- this year puas carik tak ada stock dah tu contact online pun tak ada respond- jadi kita boleh ambik mana2 tanah bersih yg banyak di park.

Ini antara yang i beli- jumpa this Tean brand dari malaysia yg memang favourite I- kalau travel masak kena lah secara smart tak dapat buat from scratch- jadi bila nampak paste sambal tumis ni dah tahu boleh di gunakan utk buat sambal nasik lemak. Dapat beli serai yang gemuk, halia, bawang,santan,cukup lah utk buat nasik lemak.

Dinner, i masak light ajer since we dah makan heavy during  tea outside- buat goreng asparagus dengan mix marinara seafood- sgt sedap. Sayur dan seafood kat sini semua segar2.

I tumis guna garlic paste dalam tube dan cili sambal dalam botol- terangkat panas2.

Our dinner- mushroom soup with Ciabatta and fried asparagus with seafood.

pagi seronoknya masak nasik lemak macam kat mesia- berbau seluruh apartment.

I guna beras basmathi sebab di sini basmathi sama ajer harganya dengan beras yg lain.

Tadaaaa…my Kuala Pilah Nasi Lemak in Adelaide.

Sambal paste Tean tadi i masak campur sedikit santan,tambah fish sauce, garam dan gula- sangat sedap rasanya- boleh tercipta resipe2 yg baru bila travel:) Ayam pulak i gaul dengan kunyit serbuk dan sedikit Brahim's curry paste- dapat lah ayam goreng berempah;)

Habis breakfast we angkat periuk semua masuk dalam kereta- we went to one of Adelaide most popular beach called Glenelg- kita pergi check out the beautiful Marina.

Sangat cantik di sini- cuma kedai tak ada yg bukak:)

Suasananya mengingatkan i pada Cannes,southern France.

We love Glenelg and we came for lunch here before we go back to Mesia on the 7th day.

We decided to drive to Semaphore beach about 20 mins from Glenelg- the girls nak mandi sini- I pun hampar makanan bawah pokok…

Nanti kita sambung lagi..mata dah ngantukkkk…nite nite:)

I always love Lavender@Lyndoch Lavender Farm-Barossa Valley.

To Tia Mia- Can you smell the lavender? It's awesome- Alhamdulillah;)

Note- Pada Nur yg bertanya baju yg sesuai utk anak berumur 3 dan 6 tahun utk cuaca sejuk di German-  cuaca yg paling sejuk kita org pernah experience adalah di Geneva around 2 degrees kadang2, of course yg paling sejuk di Mont Blanc - 0. Utk cuaca sejuk belikan lah anak2 thermal ( undergarment dari material yg khas utk panaskan badan)- boleh beli di kedai baju sejuk atau di Mark&Spencer pun ada or Uniqlo pun ada. dah tu belikan or pinjam cardigan dari wool- trench coat kalis cuaca, muffler dan gloves yg sesuai (leather) pun sgt penting,beli sock wool dan boots- budak2 kalau too cold nanti dia tak nak keluar rumah. Barang2 winter semuanya mahal- kalau ada family atau friend yg ada barang2 ni boleh pinjam saja-have fun in Germany- doa semuanya di permudahkan-(by the way gambar akak tu bukan kat German- tapi di Adelaide, Australia- Hahndorf tu ada lah perkampungan German di situ- sebab tu summer- kalau Germany now- brrrrrrr sejuknya)

3rd day we made a trip to the lavender farm di Lyndoch- Barossa Valley.

I always love Lavender- so sebelum dtg Adelaide memang dah google mana ada Lavender farm. 

Sampai ajer kat tepi the farm nak park kereta- bau dah semerbak- so sedap!

Cuma masa ni bunga belum lah byk sangat- baru bermula musim but cukup lah utk memenuhi hajat.

The setting was so nice that i berangan it is Lavender farm in southern farnce:)

Lavender ni penuh dgn bees- sebab tu pendebungaan sekata dengan quantity yg banyak and actually kita tak boleh masuk tengah2 batas ni- ada lorong tepi di sedia kan- tapi masa ni owner tak ada dan kita tak tahu so bergasak lah pi celah2 ni walaupun penuh bees!

They have cafe at the terrace and you can relax or order food for experience.

The shop at the farm sells all lavender based products and it was home made.

It was a bit pricey- sebab lavender pun memang mahal dan tengok caranya pun bukan senang nak dapat minyak lavender tu. We bought few soaps and lavender oil.

Masa ni nak Christmas- so mana2 kedai pun cantik di hias.

Semuanya vegetarian, except cheese dan berasaskan lavender:) Semua sangat sedap- the tomato relish,the home made lavender bread, the goat cheese tak berbau:)

On the way back we stopped at the road side to look at World famous Barossa Valley. I love this SUV- so cantik and compact.

Barossa valley famous for Grape farm- beribu hectar penuh dgn grapes- sini lah dia org produce wines.

Masa ni baru bermula musim- few months lagi baru grapes besar.
